CHRISTOPHER FEY – CHAIRMAN, CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER AND DIRECTOR
Christopher Fey is the founder of the U.S. Preventive Medicine® and serves as Chairman, Chief Executive Officer and a Director. He has served in these positions since the Company was established in 2004. Prior to founding the Company, Mr. Fey was Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of HealthScreen America, Inc., in Jacksonville, Fla., from 1999 to 2002, and Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of HealthScreen International, Inc., in Jacksonville, Fla., from 1997 to 2002.
Previously, Mr. Fey was founder, President and Chief Executive Officer of HealthCare USA, located in Jacksonville, Fla., from 1992 to 1997. Mr. Fey led this start-up into a multi-state 115,000 member HMO with $130 million in revenue in 30 months. Mr. Fey raised $3.7 million in capital, and built a management team, infrastructure and technology interface to connect multi-state claims processing with electronic interchanges. HealthCare USA secured HMO licenses in three states (Florida, Missouri, and Alabama) and was selected to operate a Medicare Demonstration Project. The State of Florida Department of Insurance ranked HealthCare USA as the highest quality HMO in Florida in its second year of operation.
HealthCare USA was acquired by Coventry Health Care Corporation (“Coventry”) in 1995. Following the acquisition by Coventry, Mr. Fey continued as CEO of HealthCare USA and also served as Senior Corporate Vice President of Coventry, where he was responsible for sales and marketing, including commercial and government programs.
Mr. Fey is currently an active participant in the following professional organizations: American College of Health Care Executives (CEO Circle); Disease Management Association of America; American Hospital Association; Society for Healthcare Strategy and Market Development; Society for Atherosclerosis Imaging; and American Academy of Anti-Aging Medicine.
He is a graduate of the University of Florida.
