BIOGRAPHY

Dr. M. Akram Khan is president of the Cardiac Center of Texas, P.A., located in McKinney, TX near Dallas. Dr. Khan has practiced cardiovascular medicine since 1997 and completed his cardiac fellowship and Interventional Fellowship at Baylor Medical Center of Dallas.
 
He has served on the Medical Executive Committee for various hospitals and is on staff at Medical Center of McKinney, Presbyterian Hospital of Allen (where he has served as Chief of Medicine), the Medical Center of Plano, Centennial Medical Center in Frisco, Baylor Regional Medical Center at Plano, and The Heart Hospital Baylor Plano.
 
Dr. Khan also is dedicated to research and education. He is Director of North Dallas Research Associates and is the course director for the annual North Texas Cardiovascular Conference. He is a member of the Texas Medical Association, American Heart Association, International Society of Endovascular Specialists, and Association of Clinical Research Professionals. He is a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology and the Society for Cardiac Angiography and Interventions.
